Tornado Tracker Weather Radar was developed by Severe WX Warn and contains features such as storm signatures(tornado vortex signatures, hail storm signatures and damaging wind signatures.) The app also includes storms reports for tornadoes, damaging winds and severe hail. Along with this the app also includes lightning strike data, active hurricanes and tropical cyclones, global surface winds, cloud cover and NWS watches, warnings and advisories. All data feeds are direct from NOAA, NWS and the SPC.

For a free radar app Im surprised for the value add this app offers - high resolution nexrad, storm signature warnings, filtering by warning type, a fantastic well organized drill down menus, annotation support, multiple layers including CONUS view, myriad of radar options. Pros: great interface, lots of well organized menu options, high res radar. Cons: slow to refresh and scroll maps. Doesnt save settings on exit. Would be nice with a quick startup mode with minimal options to speed up things. Wish list: Velocity radar Also would be great if it could read Environment Canada radars as well. Summary: This app shows great promise and easily competes with the best out there.

Ive had this app for long enough to say it is great. It works as advertised and its beautiful as well. I dont normally give reviews but I read them and took a chance downloading despite a couple of one star reviews. Im very happy I did. Try it again folks. It works and deserves a lot of good reviews

Some bad moments

Thats about it, way too slow to be useful, buggy and glitchy on Ipad Pro etc., definitley removing this app.

If you want a easy to use weather tracker this is not it. Use a TV instead

Useless Could not get back home after clicking more text. Money back plz.

The people reviewing this application with a 1 star review are ridiculous. This is one of the most simple weather apps available. There is an X on every screen that will get you back to the map screen. Come on people learn to use your phone and the app before falsely reviewing an application.
